Who We Are

The Children's Academy of Springfield, established in 1981,  is an early childhood education center, focusing on providing our students with a true Montessori learning environment.  We are staffed with amazing teachers and assistants who are dedicated to providing each child  a positive preschool and/or Kindergarten experience.

While we pride ourselves on an open door policy, allowing parents to visit The Academy at will, we understand the demands of daily life.  It's not every day you can stick around after drop off to observe every nook and cranny of  your child's class!  As a result, this blog will serve as a portal for our past, current, and prospective parents, encouraging all to feel connected with the multitude of learning experiences in our classrooms.

Posts will be made every Friday, at the very least.  Topics will range from curriculum, to staff interviews and beyond, highlighting all the wonderful aspects an Academy education has to offer.  We hope you find this blog helpful!  Please  offer any suggestions as to what you would like to see on our blog and, as always, feel free to "Like" us on Facebook and/or leave a review on Google!
