Ladybug Lane

Two weeks ago, during much more pleasant weather, students at The Children's Academy got a firsthand look at some temporary class pets!  Children got to watch ladybugs creep and crawl all over leaves in a mason jar.  When the time was right, individual classes released ladybugs into the Academy garden.  Everyone was delighted to observe the ladybugs in their natural habitat and some even witnessed a few in flight! Several of our new friends still reside in our garden.  It was a wonderful lesson on science, insects, and the world around us.
