Fall Fever

Fall is showing its colors over at The Children's Academy. The school grounds and classrooms are festively adorned with Autumn inspired decor.  With all of the seasonal spirit, our school trip to Snyder Farm on October 21st is sure to be a success.

It hasn't been all play and no work!  Academy students were engaged every day in their classrooms with a variety of activities.
Sound containers are enjoyed by students of every classroom.

Pom Pom Pushing can be found in the Sensorial section of the Little Room.

A Big Room student works with the Bead Stair from the Math shelf.

Coloring sheets incorporating the school's sound of the week are a popular choice among students.

A Transitional Room student works with the movable alphabet from the Language area.

Additionally this week, Children's Academy students enjoyed a sampling of pears and apples, fresh from a New York State farm.  This provided a wonderful opportunity for a Practical Life activity, filled with apple coring and peeling.

Lastly, we wish Thomas & Henry very best wishes on their birthdays!

Enjoy the three day weekend, Children's Academy Families!
