Back from Break

Salutations, everyone!  The Academy was back on track this week after what we hope was a long and relaxing weekend for all.  The children went back to work and had some outdoor when weather permitted.  Below are photos taken this week of our students as they got back into the swing of things at school.  I hope you enjoy them.

LITTLE ROOM

All Academy students enjoyed a cooking presentation and snack courtesy of Mrs. Masi.  Be sure to take a look at her cooking summer camp application!

Working alongside friends

The beauty of Montessori is the opportunity for children of all ability levels to work with materials in their own way.  This abstract use of the pink tower and broad stair is a perfect example.

This activity helps children visualize the purposes and functions of various parts of plants.  Students saw the white petals of these flowers change color due to the food coloring in the water they were in.  Amazing!

Til next weekend, Children's Academy family.  Enjoy the weekend.
