Welcome Back

This week Children's Academy students returned after what we hope was a long and relaxing winter break for all.  The children seemed eager to get back to work and interact with friends.  Below are some photos captured during this school week at The Academy!

SCIENCE/CULTURAL

 Pictured above and below are Transitional Room students.  In the above photo, browsing photos of Italy to compliment the week's continent concentration of Europe.  Below, you will find them exploring a method of non-standard measurement.  

In all of our classrooms this week, students learned about Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday.  They sampled a special treat called King Cake while learning about the traditional practice of finding the baby within the cake.  It was a fun time enjoyed by everyone!
