Enter November

What a special week it was at The Children's Academy!  With Halloween on Monday, Pajama Day on Friday & a birthday celebration for a Big Room student, it's hard to believe any work got done in our classrooms.  We promise, however, it was in fact a productive week with lots of activities and learning.  Unfortunately, with all the hustle and bustle, I wasn't able to capture much of those enriching moments on camera.  As a result, this will be a primarily visual post filled with images from our school festivities.  Thank you in advance to Mr. Plaza for taking and emailing such wonderful pictures of the Academy students on Halloween!  I couldn't upload all the photos here, but I did manage to include some.  Without further ado, I present the images of the week.  They truly speak a thousand words!  :)

HALLOWEEN AT THE ACADEMY

Our annual Halloween celebration and parade is always a highly cherished part of the year.  It is wonderfully exciting for children, teachers, and parents alike to see the students dressed in their costumes and later enjoying a themed craft provided by PACA.

PAJAMA DAY

Many thanks to all families who helped support our Pajama Day at the Academy.  Students and staff got Cozy for a Cure in efforts to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  The children enjoyed wearing their PJ's to school while learning a valuable lesson about helping others.

Lastly, all students were thankful and delighted to receive a special treat today in celebration of Audrey's birthday!  The cupcakes were a huge hit.  Happy Birthday, Audrey!

This, my friends, is how you enjoy a cupcake!  :)

Enjoy the weekend, Children's Academy family.

P.S. Don't forget to set your clocks back!
